At the site of Livadia, northwest of the royal necropolis, four farmhouses were identified and partially excavated during the years 1988–1990. Under an ESPA project, two of them, labeled A and B, were restored, both following the same architectural type. However, differences in their dimensions, the form of the main entrance, and the type and quantity of the finds suggest a possible variation in their use.
