This program was developed as part of the “Human Resource Development, Education, and Lifelong Learning 2014–2020” initiative. It is a collaboration between the Epigraphic Museum and various archaeological institutions, including the Archaeological Museum of Aiani. The program introduces students to ancient Greek inscriptions through engaging and tailored activities, aiming to: Familiarize students with the practice and history of epigraphy. Encourage interpretation and understanding of ancient texts within their historical context. Highlight the connections between inscriptions and aspects of governance, religion, and economy in antiquity. Workshop Activities ● Reading and transcribing inscriptions with the guidance of archaeologists. ● Interpreting inscriptions using specialized worksheets. ● Contextualizing the inscriptions to understand their creation and purpose
